Dog Blog - Some Recent Canine Customers

Here’s Rocco the retriever who is returning again this April after having a wonderful holiday in October 2016….

Well, what a fortnight, we are exhausted!  We have never been to the seaside before, being from Romania and only 2 but thought it wonderful.  We have been to Jane’s wonderful beach, the pub, we’ve walked from Bude to the Weir along the canal path, we’ve been to tea shops, normal shops, been out for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it seems we are welcome everywhere!  We’ve chatted to Crackers under the fence, met some really big cattle as well as travelling to fabulous places.  We have loved our very first holiday.  Thank you Aunty Jane.  Please let us stay again.  Misty and Judy.

Viggo is now Lilla’s new companion and I caught up with them on their return visit to Cornwall – unfortunately The Look Out was fully booked so they had to stay elsewhere but we hope they will return again in 2017.  Viggo is an unusual Italian shepherd dog and is HUGE!!!

Alfie came to stay with his new owners Pat & Pam who are frequent visitors to The Look Out and this this is what they had to say….
“As always, everything at The Look Out is spot on.  Thank you for the welcome and the attention to so many details to make a successful stay for us.  A very memorable week at last we made our return visit!  Alfie loved it all from the moment we arrived especially meeting Crackers!  What fun for them both.  Many thanks for everything we shall be sorry to leave, what seems to us like a ‘home from home’ – so relaxing.  Thanks again for everything…here’s a pic of Alfie and Crackers…..

Ruby & Casper

image1 (1)In October we welcomed Alex and Judith with their two Jack Russell Terriers, Ruby and Casper who had a great time here.  They all went on lots of coastal walks and we all enjoyed a Cornish cream tea at Sheep to Shore too.

Please do send us pics of your dogs – Crackers will choose a winning entry and send a prize at the end of the year……we need to keep her busy!

Molly's Dog Day Afternoon!

Dog Day Afternoons!
Molly loved  Hawkers Bay which is dog friendly with miles of sand and a beautiful woodland through which to access the beach.
Harlyn Bay is a wonderful dog friendly find too thanks to Elizabeth and Mark Yexley and Rosie – their second return visit for their first Wedding Anniversary after honeymooning at the Look Out last year!

Millie On Wanson Beach

Here’s Millie from Deal, Kent enjoying the beach.  She was a tiny ball of fun and rescued by her loving owner, Lisa.

George (RIP) And Lilla

George (RIP) and Lilla  from Germany.  We were saddened to hear that dear George had passed away.  He was a regular visitor at both The Look Out and Sheep to Shore travelling all the way from Hannover.  We loved big old George!
