The Look Out is located right on the North Cornish Coast in a small cove just south of Widemouth Bay. On land of Special Scientific Interest and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Look Out is quite simply a stunning place to explore, discover and dream. Sea, sunsets and star gazing right on the doorstep!
The beach is primarily pebbles and sand but changes with every tide. Sometimes it's sandy and other days it's shingle but always with amazing rock pools full of crabs and prawns. You can fish off the rocks for bass, codling and mackerel. At low tide you can walk along to Black Rock and Widemouth Bay to the North and Millook to the South. The Look Out is South West facing so enjoys the stunning sunsets on the outside beach themed area which is completely private and secure.
The stretch of coastline is steeped in history with not only shipwrecks along the shoreline but there's also an elephant buried along the South West Coastal Path on the property! Our privately owned beach can be accessed either along the coastal road and across the crystal clear waters of Wanson River or by walking a short distance across the field adjoining The Look Out.
Please ring if you get lost - there aren't any road names. Jane Mobile 07880 798111
